Fukuoka Asian Art Museum

The Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, or Fukuoka Ajia Bijutsukan, is a recent addition to the city's cultural scene. Located on the seventh floor of the ritzy Hakata Riverain shopping complex, the museum boasts a modest but interesting collection of contemporary art from Asia, as well as temporary exhibitions. You can occasionally see artists at work in the studio upstairs. Opening time: 10am–8pm, closed WedPrice: ¥200 faam.city.fukuoka.jp
