Universal Studios Japan
Covering some 140 acres on Ōsaka's western waterfront, Universal Studios Japan is one of the nation's leading theme parks, with eighteen rides and shows including "Jaws", "ET Adventure" and the star attraction, "Jurassic Park – The Ride", which features a near-vertical, 25-metre plunge. All use state-of-the-art special effects and motion simulation. The theme park is served by the new Universal City Station on the JR Yumesaki line, which connects to the JR Loop line at Nishikujo Station.
