Kōbe Fashion Museum
Housed inside what looks like a docked Starship Enterprise, this museum is a must for fashionistas, with regular special exhibitions that mainly focus on historical developments and couture collections, as well as an extensive multilingual library of fashion magazines. The only disappointment is that it's surprisingly light on Japanese fashion. To reach the Fashion Museum, take the Rokkō line monorail from JR Sumiyoshi or Hanshin Uozaki stations to Island Centre Station (¥240), from where it's a couple of minutes' walk from the southeast exit.Address: Rokkō Island Opening time: Daily 10am–5.30pm; closed WedPrice: ¥500
