3 Gaijin Bar Minami 2, Nishi 7 The sign outside translates as "nest of delinquent gaijin", but everyone knows this very casual and tiny second-floor joint by its shorter name. Serves a wide range of beers. Opening time: Closed Sun
4 Habana Minami 3, Nishi 5, on the 2nd and 3rd floors above the Tanukikoji arcade Offers spicy chicken and rice entrées and lively Latin American music, plus occasional salsa parties.
5 Jazz Café Bossa 3rd floor, Gobangai Building, Minami 3, Nishi 4 Small, dimly lit bar with booth seating and walls lined with stacks of old jazz records; a good place to chill after a hectic night out.
6 Miss Jamaica Minami 3, Nishi 6 Drinks are around ¥500 each at this funky Caribbean bar with a jukebox of rare gems and at least thirty different kinds of rum and tequila. The menu includes Jamaican curry and rice for ¥900.
