The location, a short shuffle from Sakae, is good. There are women-only rooms here and breakfast is taken at the neighbouring Mos Burger. Price: ¥10000-15000

The tatami rooms have air conditioning and TV; bathrooms are communal and there's a little café for breakfast and dinner. Singles are ¥5250. Take exit three at Kamimaezu subway station and walk a couple of minutes east. Price: ¥7000-10000

The smaller Honkan building is a bit cheaper than the newer and larger Shinkan. Price: ¥7000-10000
