Mitsubishi Minato Mirai Industrial Museum
Kids will be in their element here. The museum's six well-laid-out zones illustrate technological developments, from today's power generators, oil platforms and deep-sea probes to the space stations of tomorrow. There are plenty of models and interactive displays, but the biggest draws are the "Sky-Walk Adventure" – a helicopter simulator which takes you swooping and soaring over Yokohama – and the 3D theatre, in which a space-time probe transports you on an adventure set around 2050, up on the second floor; you'll need to book times for both when you arrive. Opening time: Tues– Sun 10am–5.30pmPrice: ¥300
