Umananda Temple
Address: On Peacock Island, in the middle of the Brahmaputra
While the location of the Shiva temple of Umananda, atop a steep flight of steps, is more dramatic than the temple itself, but you may get to see some rare golden langur monkeys. Ferries leave regularly from Kachari and Umananda Ghat.
