Jodhpur's main railway station is pretty central, just south of the old city on Station Road. The state (Roadways) bus stand is east of the old city. Private buses from Jaisalmer drop you by Bombay Motors Circle at the western end of Sardarpura, 4km southwest of town, Rs50 by auto. Other private buses deposit you nearby at Kalpataru Cinema. From the airport, 4km south, an auto-rickshaw into town costs Rs80; taxis charge a fixed rate of Rs220.
