Arrival

While Ajmer's railway station is slap-bang in the centre of town, the StateBus Stand, with an exhaustive array of routes, is inconveniently situated on the Jaipur Road, 2km northeast. Tempos and auto-rickshaws connect the two; auto-rickshaws cost around Rs30. If you're heading straight on to Pushkar, buses depart from the state bus stand every 15min or so until around 9pm.
