1 Cuba Cubana 82 Xim Waddo, Arpora Hill
www.clubcubana.net Glam nightclub on a forested hilltop inland from Baga, spread around an underlit open-air pool. Its high entrance charge – buys you unlimited drinks from a well-stocked bar – a policy intended to keep out the low-spending riff-raff from down on the strip. R&B, hip-hop and garage (they purposely stay well away from techno) played on a twin-storey dance floor. Opening time: Daily 9.30pm–5amPrice: Men Rs700; Women Rs500, free on Wed
2 Kamaki Tito's Lane, Saunta Waddo Big-screen sports and a state-of-the-art karaoke machine account for the appeal of this a/c, Brit-dominated bar just up the lane from Tito's. Price: Occasional Rs100 cover charge
3 Mambo's Tito's Lane, Saunta Waddo Large, semi-open-air pub with wooden decor and a big circular bar that gets packed out most nights in season with a lively, mixed crowd. Once again, karaoke is the big draw, though drinks cost well above average, and they slap on a Rs400 cover charge after 11pm, or when there's live entertainment. "Ladies Night", on Wed, means free entry and free drinks for women.
