The Tropical Flower and Plants Garden is full of palms, fruit trees and brightly flowering shrubs and vines, nicely arranged around a lake. The gardens – aerial flower subgarden, bougainvillea subgarden, and so on – are well worth a visit, and in the early afternoon local dancing is put on for tour groups. The street that leads to the gardens is lined with bars, which are dead in the daytime but can get lively during the evening, especially at weekends.
