The airport is 10km southwest of the city, a ten-minute, ¥20–25 taxi ride from the centre, or ¥5 on the bus. The main bus station, Jinghong Banna, on Minzu Lu, handles services from all over Xishuangbanna and beyond, including Xiaguan, Kunming and the Vietnamese border at Hekou. The other depot, 500m north on Jinghong Bei Lu, concentrates on minibuses from Menghan and other places around Xishuangbanna.
