Cuihu Park

Address: Cuihu Nan Lu (bus #5 from the museum or bus #2 from the southern end of Beijing Lu)
Cuihu Park is predominantly lake, a good place to join thousands of others exercising, singing, feeding wintering flocks of gulls, or just milling between the plum and magnolia gardens and over the maze of bridges. The park is a twenty-minute walk north of the museum via Dongfeng Xi Lu and Cuihu Nan Lu; alternatively, take.
Immediately northwest, the Yunnan University campus offers a glimpse of old Kunming, its partially overgrown 1920s exterior reached via a wide flight of stone steps. Cafés and cheap restaurants in the vicinity are the haunt of plenty of expats and students eager to practise their English .
