China Guide
The Yangzi basin
Arrival
It's only three hours to Jingdezhen from Nanchang. Arriving from Fujian, you can catch a train to the copper-mining town of Yingtan, and continue by bus for three hours to Jingdezhen (half this for the train, changing in Yingtan itself). It's also easy to get here by bus or train from Tunxi in Anhui, and there are trains from Nanjing and Shanghai.
The train station is on Tongzhan Lu, 1500m southeast from Guangchang, the central square; the long-distance bus station is 3km west across the river. Bus #28 connects the two via Zhushan Lu and Guangchang.
