Shuangliu airport is 16km southwest of town, a ¥12 ride on the airport bus to the China Southwest Airlines office on Renmin Nan Lu (30min) or ¥45 by taxi. The north train station is 4km north of town, with city buses running into town from the depot nearby.
Chengdu's many long-distance bus stations are mostly scattered around the city perimeter. Northwesterly Chadianzi is out on the third ring road (served by bus #82). Northeast of the centre are Zhaojue Si (bus #1 or #302 to Renmin Nan Lu and Wuhouci Dajie) and Beimen stations; to the east is Wuguiqiao (bus #58 passes Renmin Park); while the most central is Xinnanmen, next to the Jiaotong hotel.
