You can get fine views over the city by ascending to the observation platform at the top of the Jinmao Tower, although there are also great (free) views to be had by going in the front door (in the east) and up to the hotel lobby on the 54th floor, where you can take advantage of the Grand Hyatt hotel's comfy, window-side chairs. But to observe the panorama in style, put on your best clothes and pay a night-time trip to the hotel bar Cloud Nine, on the eighty-seventh floor of the same building.
