The massive Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall pays tribute to Tianjin's most famous resident. A bunker perched on the northern edge of Shuishang Park, the hall features a few wax figures, Zhou's aeroplane and limousine, and scattered English explanations of his achievements, though it's not so much an analysis of the difficulties in being Chairman Mao's right-hand man as a paean to his marriage to fellow comrade Deng Yingchao. The events around the Cultural Revolution, from which Zhou's legacy derives most of its strength, are curtly summarized thus: "He frustrated the attempts of the Gang of Four."
