Getting around
Guangzhou's speedy metro is the best way to travel around the city. Fares are ¥2–7.
If you can't get somewhere by metro, you'll find yourself using Guangzhou's cheap and slow bus and trolleybus network, which covers most of the city from ¥1 a ride.
Taxis are plentiful and can be hailed in the street. Fares start at ¥7, but larger vehicles charge more – all have meters
