The Big Bus Company's eye-catching vehicles ply two routes, one around the city centre and the other travelling all the way down to Dubai Marina. 2 Wonder Bus Tours BurJuman Centre 04-359 5656 www.wonderbusdubai.com The bizarre-looking Wonder Bus – half bus and half boat – offers Dubai city tours with a difference. Departing from the BurJuman centre, you'll be driven down to Garhoud Bridge, where the bus-cum-boat dives into the water and sails you all the way up the Creek to Shindagha. It then emerges once again onto dry land, travelling back to BurJuman by road. Trips last about 1hr 30min (including 1hr on the Creek). Price: 115dh, or 75dh for children aged 3–12 Opening time: Four or more trips daily, depending on the tide (book a day ahead to make sure of a place and check latest timings)
