Money

    Lesotho's currency is the loti, plural maluti (M), divided into 100 lisenti; the loti is tied to the South African rand (R1=M1). You can also use rand throughout Lesotho, but you cannot use or exchange maluti anywhere outside Lesotho (apart from in some South African border towns such as Ladybrand), so make sure you use them up or exchange them before leaving.
