4 YMCA Sharia Salah al-Din al-Ayubi 088/232-3218. The only decent budget option, it has simple rooms with fridges (£E30 with a/c), a large garden and basketball courts, used by Coptic youth groups. Reservations advised; manager Attiyah speaks English. Price: under ₤E50
