Na'ama Bay
With its fine beach and upmarket facilities, NA'AMA BAY has transformed itself so rapidly even the residents have trouble keeping up. In a few short years the bay has grown from a few huts on the beach and one lone hotel to what looks like a mini-city, especially at night when the electric lights blaze in the desert sky. Diving and snorkelling are still the main draws, with dive centres, hotels and malls being the only points of reference along the beachfront strip. The beach is divided into hotel-owned plots that are supposedly open to anyone providing they don't use the parasols or chairs – though hippy-looking types may be hassled and topless bathing is highly unadvisable (not to mention illegal). There are two public beaches (£E5), though they are no more than narrow unkempt strips squeezed in next to the Novotel and the Hilton beaches.
