It seems none of our members has used SA Luxury Expeditions but hopefully you’ve managed to get hold of some further feedback by now – reading the reviews page, I can understand why you’re concerned. I’ve checked our Rough Guides to Peru and South America on a Budget but neither mentions SA Luxury Expeditions, I’m afraid. Hopefully everything will work out but if you do decide to shift to another operator, our Peru author has listed a selection of the best companies to use – including the tours they specialise in – in our latest guide, published in October 2012. Hi, we are former clients of SA Luxury Expeditions. We had a terrible experience with them and we have posted our trip report on a different web site. Just look around and you will find several negative reviews on this travel agency. I am the one who posted that I wouldn’t even hire their services to plan my weekend picnic.

I believe they excel at selling, but forget about you as soon as you arrive to your destination. Furthermore, when issues come up, they just don’t pick up the phone.

You should do extensive research before traveling with them and any other travel agency.
