Interesting London Events 3/14 – 3/17

Going to be in London for a few days in March and am looking for some interesting, non-touristy things that might be going on – music, art, events, etc…

A couple of things in mind that should be good, but also rather popular (so not specifically non-touristy – better book tickets soon): the Lichtenstein retrospective at Tate Modern (21 Feb – 26 May) and also the Stranglers play the Roundhouse on Friday 15 March.

St Patrick’s Day is on the 17th!! Get yourself down a local pub for a pint or two of the black stuff… avoid chain pubs and instead try a local such as the Auld Shillelagh in Stoke Newington, or Quinn’s in Kentish Town.

Check out some experimental theatre in the underground passages of Somerset House. Looks awesome!

In the Beginning was the End

Be sure to book tickets before your trip as this will be a popular event…

I didn’t ask the question–but I did take Mani’s advice! One ticket bought for In the Beginning. Great suggestion, thanks so much!
