Grettir Guesthouse is a family run Guesthouse in the heart of Reykjavík. The charming wooden house was built in 1901 and has been home to a countless number of families. If it’s walls could speak they would have thousand tales to tell! Of course the house has been fully renovated and is equipped with all modern comforts.

At the Guesthouse Grettir we offer four double rooms of different sizes, and one single-occupancy room. Three of our double rooms can be converted to twin rooms on request. All rooms have a sink and wireless internet connection is available throughout the house. There is one shared bathroom in the house, located on the first floor. Guests enjoy access to a fully equipped kitchen. Tea / coffee is free of charge and breakfast is self service, consisting of cereal and milk.
