Samsen Skyline Hostel

64 Samsen Road, Bangkok, Thailand, 10200

Overall Rating: 81

Enjoy the excitement of Khao San Road from a safe distance of a ten-minute walk from our hostel. While you’re here at Skyline you can join fellow travelers on the roof-top. From our impressive roof-top party terrace you get a great view in all four directions of the Bangkok cityscape. Our property is attractive and clean and our service is impeccable.

Our rooms are clean and attractive and air-conditioned. Our dorms are gorgeous with ventilated lounge areas outside. There are rooms especially suited for small groups of 2 to 6 people. Larger groups can take adjacent rooms. Solo travelers can either share a dorm room or there is a fan room with a single bed (the only room without air-conditioning). All guests pay 300 baht per person regardless of the room. There are several configurations of beds for two travelers. We have rooms with a queen/double bed, two single (twin) beds or a bunk bed.

Important Information

Samsen Skyline Hostel is located far enough from Khao San Road to avoid the chaos and hiked-up prices but close enough – 10 minutes – for quick access. One of our most salient features is the roof-top terrace, on which parties with fellow travelers alternate with quiet evenings. Our dorms have a luxury feel and we have private rooms available for groups of two to six. We have free WIFI accessible throughout the building. The rooms have air conditioning (except for a single-person fan room) and decent furnishings with small lamps. They are clean and have quality bedding. Many of the rooms have an impressive view of the back-lit Rama VIII bridge (from which we derived the logo). For laundry there is a choice of paying for a service or doing it yourself. Our restaurant boasts authentic Thai food at Thai - not foreigner - prices. For storing luggage after check-out time we give you the option of an area that is free or a storage area for 20 baht. Linen and small towels are provided and you have the option of renting large towels for a little extra. Special adaptors for charging electronics are available without charge.
