Greyhound does not serve Boca Raton. Tri-Rail trains stop off I-95, at 680 Yamato Rd (t 1-800/TRI-RAIL); there’s a connecting shuttle to the town centre. The Chamber of Commerce is at 1800 N Dixie Hwy (Mon 9.30am–5pm, Tues–Fri 8.30am–5pm; t 561/395-4433, w www.bocaratonchamber.com). The Townplace Suites by Marriott, 5110 NW 8th Ave (t 561/994-7232, w www.towneplacebocaraton.com; $101–130), and Ocean Lodge, 531 N Ocean Blvd (t 561/395-7772, w www.oceanlodgeflorida.com; $61–80), are two hotels providing reasonable value for money. For eating, the upscale Max’s Grill, 404 Plaza Real, Mizner Park (t 561/368-0080), has appealing American dishes with Asian influences, while the Whale’s Rib, 2033 NE 2nd St (t 954/421-8880) keeps the rock shrimp, raw oysters and conch chowder coming with a vengeance.
