Explore The Turquoise Coast
The closest tourist facilities are in hillside ALINCA, reached by returning to the junction and heading west through Boğaziçi, then northwest. Just off the Lycian Way at the top of the village stands the Dervish Lodge (t 0252/679 1142, w www.dervishlodge.com), with views to die for and accommodation ranging from nomad yurts (€20–28 (41–60TL) HB) to standard doubles in stone huts (€39–57 (81–120TL) HB). Much further off the trail is Black Tree Farm (t 0252/617 0045, w www.blacktree.net; closed Nov–March) in KARAAĞAÇ, 3.5km beyond, occupying extensive grounds, 1100m up, with rare Baba Dağı cedars nearby and a zoo’s worth of animals on site. Accommodation comprises a restored trekkers’ lodge (16 beds at 20TL a head) and nine newer cottages built in local stone and pine (£280/week for one-bedroom, £380/week for three-bedroom). There’s a swimming pool, tennis courts and restaurant-bar serving simple lunches. A marked, non-Lycian Way trail links Karaağaç with Kirme, allowing the completion of circular hikes from Faralya.
