What is the best way to help children with their jet lag? Or should I be adjusting their sleep patterns well before we go?

Take off their shoes and get them to scrunch their feet up on the carpet! Have you not seen Die Hard damnit!?!?

I’d use the first day to try and readjust them, not before. Try short naps on the plane then making them stay awake until local bedtime when they get there.
I have never tried to do anything before we leave – it’s easier just to roll with it when you get there. I always find they adjust much better than the adults!! Good Luck! Where are you travelling to btw?
