How easy is it to organise trekking in the atlas mountains and other mountains?

Very easy, particularly in the Toubkal Massif, the most popular trekking area in the High Atlas – a number of recommended trekking agencies are based in Imlil. Elsewhere, it’s easy enough to hire guides in Setti Fatma for treks in the Ourika Valley.
North of Marrakesh, there’s a Bureau des Guides in Tabant that can help you explore the beautiful Aït Bouguemez, though most of the accommodation in the valley can provide guides for treks ranging from ninety-minute walks around the valley’s villages to a multi-day ascent of Jebel M’Goun.
You can organize trekking in the Jebel Saghro, popular between October and April, when the High Atlas is out of bounds, at Boumalne du Dadès, Tinghir, El Kelâa M’Gouna or N’Kob.
