Hey – one of our Twitter followers recommended this: @tropicalskyadam: Visit Manitoba to see polar bears in the wild.

You can read our feature on it here: http://www.roughguides.com/article/tracking-down-polar-bears-in-churchill-manitoba/

Another suggestion from a Twitter follower:

Niagara Escarpment, particularly Beaver Valley in Ontario. One of my favourite places in the world.

I am a Westerner so would tell you that for scenery the West is best. Fly to Calgary and drive through the rockies to Vancouver. Take the ferry over to Vancouver Island and see Victoria.
I live on Vancouver Island – sea and mountains. Maritime Canada is nice too especially Nova Scotia. Toronto is just a big big city but you can maybe do a stop over there. However save most time for the West

Hi,
We are doing just that trip in June. What are your suggestions for “must see” on 4 day stop in Vancouver.
Also ideas for 2 days near Tofino and 2 days in Victoria?

Thanks in advance

Sorry could not log in on my tablet and was away in Arizona. Tofino is quite touristy I hear. I would add a stop in Qualicum Beach. Vancouver you might want to take a hop on tour. The main stop in Vancouver is of course Stanley Park. Others also go across to North Vancouver to the Capilano suspension bridge. The drive out to Lion’s Bay in West Vancouver is nice too. Victoria nice walks around our Legislature . Butchart Gardens is a standard visit. You can get day passes on the bus quite cheap. Take the double decker bus out to Sidney and visit the stores and restaurants. My fav bookstore is Tanners and always go there. I have not been to Tofino for a while but both ends of Highway 4 have things. Coombs has a store where there are goats on the roof. Cathedral gove is on the way to Tofino as well. Have you visted the BC govt tourism website?

Hi there,
I can’t speak for all of Canada because it is a very big country. Being from the Toronto area I can definitely say it’s a city to spend at least a few days.

A day trip to Niagara Falls is a must.

There a lots of attractions to do in downtown Toronto or surrounding areas:
- The CN Tower
- The Ripley’s Aquarium (new this year)
- Royal Ontario Museum
- Visit to Casa Loma (a castle)

In terms of group accomodations, you can try http://www.hostelbookers.com/hostels/canada/toronto/

Good luck on your travels.
