Which cities should I visit in Puerto Rico for a five days vacation?

this is a great place to start your research:
Puerto Rico is incredibly diverse and I guess it depends what you interests are? The party-loving capital of San Juan is well worth exploring, especially the evocative cobbled streets of the old town.
Sophisticated Ponce is the second-city, proud of its architecture and heritage – there are a couple of world-class museums and a lovely art gallery. If you go there, try to visit in the week leading up to Ash Wednesday as the city hosts a family-friendly carnival.
If you liked Old San Juan, but weren’t so sure about all the tourists, make a beeline for handsome and provincial San Germán in the west.
A lot of Puerto Rico’s attractions lie offshore and away from the cities, so east coast Fajardo is a great place to head to (but not for the city itself which is unattractive at best). Fajardo is a springboard for Reserva Natural Cabezas de San Juan and Laguna Grande, as well as La Cordillera (a paradise for divers) and the dreamy offshore islands of Vieques and Culebra… enjoy.
