You can go for B-BAR, trust me it’s amazing. you just melt away in the Ambiance. Great place, superb music. it’s beautiful.
also you can go for the Le meridian, Taj palace, priority pass lounge too. they are good too.
Sevilla at the Claridges hotel is really lovely – it’s in a sort of swanky tented indoor/outdoor area and has a really relaxed but cosmopolitan atmosphere. It’s in a good central location. Can’t remember anything about the music, but that could’ve been because there was lots of chatting going on – a key ingredient to a good meal, in my opinion.
Or you could try Magique in the Garden of Five Senses. Describes itself as ‘asian fusion’ and while the food was pretty good it’s really the location that’s memorable – lots of twinkly lights in the middle of lovely gardens. It’s a bit out of town, and watch out for mozzies if you’re there at sunset.
Neither of these are cheap options, but good for a bit of a splurge.
For Japanese try Sakura.
For Indian food with an international twist you must go to Indian Accent. Great music (not live though) and fantastic decor. The food is exciting but expensive. But it is worth every penny if you are a gourmet.
As Pirate mentioned, Barbeque Nation is excellent for the meat lover. It also has a live music scene, where the performers also take in requests. There are 3 of those in the city, with the fourth coming up in Noida shortly.
